In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate

On the night of Monday, the 3rd of the month of Shaʿbān of the year 1447 AH, I attended the third lecture of the lessons delivered by the student of knowledge Shaykh Muhammed al-Dīn, in the city of London.

He delivered a lesson titled “The Path to Purification of the Soul” and explained some of the luminous meanings contained in the noble Qur’an — may Allah grant him success in that noble purpose — and he also encouraged people to care about the Arabic language.

This is a brief summary of the lesson I heard from him, written down to the best of my ability, and I ask the Exalted Lord to grant us sincerity, to benefit our brothers in Deen Institute with this lesson, and that He makes this effort purely for His noble Face. And may Allah reward them and us with goodness, and make it heavy on the scale of good deeds on the Day when neither wealth nor children will avail.

All praise is due to Allah, and may prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, his companions, those who love him, and those who follow his path.

It brings joy to Deen Institute that among its aims is helping seekers of knowledge remain firm upon the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamāʿah, and teaching the authentic books approved by the scholars of the Sunnah.

Teaching knowledge is among the greatest righteous deeds and praiseworthy acts, and it is a sign of Allah’s will of goodness for a servant — as the Prophet ﷺ said: “Whomever Allah wishes good for, He grants him understanding of the religion.”

Thus, we encourage joining and benefiting from the programs and lessons of the institute, and we ask Allah for success.
